Important information for patients
The leading experts in digestive health throughout our region—Main Line Gastroenterology Associates (MLGA), Digestive Disease Associates (DDA), Regional GI (RGI), Carlisle Digestive Disease Associates (CDDA), USDH at Royersford, and West Chester GI (WCGI)—are now affiliated with U.S. Digestive Health (USDH), a growing collective of gastroenterology practices currently focused on providing services in Central and Southeastern Pennsylvania.
AmeriHealth Caritas has forced Regional Gastroenterology Associates of Lancaster (RGLA), which includes USDH’s affiliated practices, out of network as of January 1, 2021.
Unfortunately, this means we can no longer see patients with AmeriHealth Caritas Medical Assistance (Medicaid) health plans. Patients still have options to protect their in-network access to their preferred digestive health provider. See a full list of our accepted Medical Assistance/Medicaid health plans here.
We have reached new contracts with Independence Blue Cross and Keystone First.
Patients with IBC health plans and Keystone First Medical Assistance health plans should continue to visit their doctor and USDH-affiliated facilities as they normally would.
These mutually beneficial agreements support our affiliated-practices’ in growing their networks. They will also help us remain financially sustainable and ensure our ability to continue providing the convenient, high-quality care your patients have come to know and trust for years to come.
